"BD" consists of a wooden frame, acrylic, and unbound pages of various artists sandwiched between the frames. It is a new type of book that you can display on the wall and look at each page, instead of picking it up and turning the pages like a conventional book.
「BD」は、木製フレームと、アクリル、それに挟まれた綴じられていない様々な作家のページからなります。従来の本の様に手に取ってページをめくるのではなく、壁面に各ページを飾って眺めるような新しい本のかたちです。


Takeshi Nishio　西尾 健史
デザイナー。1983年、長崎県生まれ。桑沢デザイン研究所卒業後、設計事務所を経て、「DAYS.」として独立。机と作業場を行き来しながら様々な空間から家具、プロダクトのデザイン、及びプライベートワークを行う。GOOD DESIGN AWARD、YOUNG DESIGNER AWARD受賞。
